From team tee to everyday uniform

A good team tee does not need a complicated outfit. The Boston Raiders Tee puts a gold Raiders graphic on a black cotton base: enough personality to lead, and a straightforward colour combination to build around. Here are three ways to give that graphic room.

Keep the first version simple

Start with straight-leg denim and clean trainers. Blue denim separates the black tee from the rest of the outfit without adding another competing graphic. If you prefer a darker look, black trousers work too; a different texture helps keep the pieces distinct. Before choosing a size, compare the product measurements with a tee you already like wearing.

Use an open layer as a frame

An unbuttoned overshirt or a light jacket lets the centre graphic remain visible. Try a plain neutral rather than another large print. The idea is to create a frame around the team name, not to cover it completely. For a more relaxed proportion, leave the tee untucked and keep the outer layer slightly longer.

Add one colour, then stop

The gold Shane & Ilya Hat can echo the warmer colour in the Boston graphic. If you want the tee to be the only focal point, skip the extra colour and keep your accessories quiet. Both approaches leave the team identity intact; they simply change how strongly it speaks.

Prefer a different team palette? The Montreal Metros Tee and New York Admirals Tee offer blue and red alternatives. Apply the same principle: let the tee supply the colour and use the rest of the outfit to support it.
