Keep the details sharp: a collection care guide

A jersey, a cotton tee and an embroidered hat can share the same team colours while needing different care. Before cleaning anything, read the label on the item and the guidance for that exact product. The examples below are a way to organise the collection, rather than a single routine for everything.
Set the hockey jerseys aside
The Boston Raiders and Montreal Metros jerseys use polyester mesh and embroidered details. Their published care guidance says not to machine wash, bleach or use fabric softener, and specifies cool ironing on the reverse. Do not assume that a sports-inspired garment should go through the same wash as ordinary sportswear.
Turn printed cotton inside out
For the Boston Raiders Tee, the instructions call for a cold wash inside out with similar colours and mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry, and avoid ironing directly over the graphic. Turning the shirt before washing is a small habit that keeps the print from becoming the exposed surface.
Give embroidery its own check
The New York Admirals Sweatshirt calls for washing inside out in cold water and drying with low heat. The Gold Shane & Ilya Hat instead calls for cold hand washing and air drying, with no ironing. Embroidery alone does not tell you which routine is right; the body fabric and the product instructions matter too.
Keep the tote out of the clothing wash
The Montreal Metros Tote Bag is spot-clean only. Deal with marks locally according to its guidance rather than putting it into the washing machine with tees. If an item's sewn-in label differs from an online description, follow the label and ask for clarification before cleaning. A few minutes spent sorting by product can prevent a careless all-in-one wash.
